A periodontist's view

“Almost everyone I see clears the line and never feeds what is left.”

Dr. Sarah Chen — DMD, MS, board-certified periodontist

Dr. Sarah Chen

Before you buy.

The six things people check first.

What's in the kit

One full bottle of each. Two products, two jobs, one line.

  • Pulling Oil — 120ml, twice a week, clears the pocket
  • Gum Serum — 30ml, once a day, holds the tissue

The serum outlasts the oil, so you will always have some in hand.

The routine
  • Every night — two pumps of serum at the gum line. No rinsing.
  • Twice a week — oil first. One 15ml spoonful, seven minutes, spit into the bin.
  • The order — oil, brush, then serum. The serum goes on last.

New to the oil? Start at four minutes and build up.

Why both and not one

Clearing what is living in the pocket is not the same as feeding the tissue above it.

A rinse clears and leaves. A gel holds, but nothing was cleared first. One product cannot be in both places.

What's not in either

No alcohol, no SLS, no sting, no rinsing. No PEG, no chlorhexidine, no synthetic antiseptics, no artificial sweeteners, no dyes.

Safe with crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, fillings and braces.

Shipping & returns

Worldwide shipping, dispatched within one business day. Free over $65.

The two run out at different rates. Set each to its own frequency at checkout, or take the kit less often and keep a spare serum in the cupboard.

60-day guarantee

Sixty days on both, opened. If nothing has changed, we refund you in full.

We ask one thing: give it a fair month. One email, no forms, no return shipping.

Why both

  • A rinse clears, then leaves.

  • A gel holds, but nothing was cleared.

  • A brush never reaches either.

Clearing and holding are two jobs.

The oil lifts what is living in the pocket. The serum keeps the tissue above it fed once that is done. One product cannot be in both places.

The science

How it works

One clears it. One holds it.

Two jobs at the same line, and one product cannot do both. Clearing what is living in the pocket is not the same as feeding the tissue above it.

  • I

    Twice a week

    The Pulling Oil

    Penetrate · Bind · Extract

Pre-liquified, so it flows into the pocket instead of beading at the opening. The bacteria live in a sticky, fat-soluble film. It grips the oil in preference to the tooth, and leaves on the spit.

    Clears the line
  • II

    Once a day

    The Gum Serum

    Saturate · Bind · Hold

A gel that stays at the margin instead of running off it. Eight hours of holding water in the tissue, against the thirty seconds a rinse manages.

    Holds the line

Removes what's there. Supports what's left.

Every trial, linked in full

The week

Twice a week, once a day.

The serum is ten seconds and happens every night. The oil is seven minutes and happens twice a week. Nothing here asks for a new habit.

  • Every night Serum. Two pumps at the gum line, last thing. No rinsing.
  • Twice a week Oil, before you brush. One 15ml spoonful, seven minutes, spit into the bin.
  • Never Both at once. Oil first, brush, then the serum. The serum goes on last.

New to the oil? Start at four minutes and build up.

Each one on its own

What to expect

Honestly told, in three stages.

“Nothing dramatic happens. Things simply stop getting worse.”

  • Weeks one to two The sting you expected never comes. Neither of these burns. If you have been using an antiseptic rinse, the absence of that is the first thing you notice.
  • Weeks four to eight Mornings feel different. Less film, less of that coated feeling, less tightness at the line. This is the part people notice first and mention least.
  • Month three onward Your hygienist says less. Nothing dramatic happens. Things simply stop getting worse, which after years of the opposite is the point.

It will not grow tissue back. Nothing will.

If a month passes and nothing has changed, use the guarantee. We would rather refund you than have you keep buying something that is not working.

In their words

Not whiter. Just calmer.

Every review is from a verified purchase. We do not edit them, and we do not only publish the flattering ones.

    “Bought both, not one.”

I would not have known which of the two I actually needed, and I would have picked wrong.

    “Neither of them stings.”

That is the reason I am still doing it. Everything else I tried I quit inside a month.

    “Ten seconds at night.”

The serum takes no time at all. The oil is the only one that asks for any, and that is twice a week.

A periodontist's view

Formulated with people who see the damage every day.

“Most sensitivity starts where the gum has pulled back. You cannot put the gum back. You can cover what it left exposed.”

Most brands want a name on the box. This one wanted the claims cut back until every single one could be defended in front of a colleague. It will not fill a cavity and it will not regrow a gum. It puts mineral back into a surface that is thinning, and that is what it says.

  • Board-certified periodontist, DMD, MS
  • Reviewed the full formula before it went to manufacture
  • Holds the veto on every enamel claim we publish

Have questions?

Choose your mouth. Choose Holy.

Answered straight, including the ones with an awkward answer.

  • Do I need both?

The oil clears what is living in the pocket below the gum line. The serum keeps the tissue above it fed once that is done. Clearing and holding are two jobs. If you only want one, start with whichever matches what is bothering you.

They do not do each other's job.

  • What order do I use them in?

On oil nights: swish, spit into the bin, brush as normal, then two pumps of serum last. The serum goes on last so nothing washes it off. Every other night it is just the serum.

    Oil, brush, then serum.

  • Seven minutes is a long time?

Most people do it in the shower. And it is twice a week, not daily. Start at four minutes and build up if seven feels like a stretch.

It is, until you stop setting time aside for it.

  • Why not just use coconut oil?

Standard coconut oil is a lump below 24 degrees. This is pre-liquified, so it flows on contact. Coconut oil works — the reason people quit is the chewing, not the oil.

Because it goes solid, and you will stop.

  • Does either kill bacteria?

The oil binds to the film the bacteria live in and leaves with it. The good bacteria stay exactly where they were, which is the point.

    No. Neither is antiseptic.

  • Is it safe with crowns or implants?

Crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, fillings and braces. No staining, no burn, nothing abrasive.

    Yes. Both, all of them.

  • Do I still brush and floss?

Use them alongside brushing and flossing, not instead of. Keep your check-ups.

    Yes. Neither replaces anything.

  • Can it reverse recession?

Nothing brings back tissue that is gone. What this does is stop feeding the thing that took it, which is a smaller promise and a true one.

    No.

  • How do subscriptions work?

The oil is a month at twice a week. The serum is about eight weeks. Set each to its own frequency at checkout, or take the kit less often and keep a spare serum in the cupboard.

The two run out at different rates, and delivery follows that.

Anything not covered here, email us. A person reads them.
